Quite simply a shavette is a close relative to the old fashioned cut throat razor that was the only way to shave before the arrival of the DE safety razor in the early 1900s and is used by barbers across the globe to shave gentlemen and edge hair where precision is needed. We have three variations on the easy to use shavette. Each uses a disposable blade so there is no need to master a strop, just simply select your favourite blade and pop it in the holder. You can choose either a standard double edge blade or longer blades specifically designed for shavettes.Each Dovo razor comes with an adapter for either type.Parkers are well known for manufacturing distinctive razors and have been doing so since the early 1970s.
